Point A

Parkour – the art of getting from point A to point B as quickly and safely as possible.  It’s a method of physical training that develops one’s ability to overcome physical and mental obstacles.  It is driven by a philosophy of altruism, useful strength, longevity, self-improvement and self-understanding.

Local Movement Culture studio Point A hosts a monthly Parkour Jam – which this month they are bringing to the Festival of CoCreation in Bowden.

Dance Jam – 3pm

Azusa Kyushiki

Plenty of people know what a musical jam is about… but not many people know about dance jams. Dancers form different styles and groups get together to dance their own style, their own way, and bring dancing back to where it all began.

Grassroots Yoga – 4pm

Sophie Hayat

Stretch out and reconnect with your body with a grassroots yoga session.

What do you do when you want to practice yoga, know there are others out there interested, but you don’t have a local yoga studio? You go out and do it! The grassroots yoga movement is sweeping the country.

Jeet Kune Do training – 4pm

Ricardo Vargas

Jeet Kune Do – the martial art and philosophy of the legendary BRUCE LEE, the most extraordinary martial artist of our time.

Steeped in discipline and dedication – not to hurt anyone, but to overcome our own greed, anger and folly. JKD is directed toward oneself. That is why JKD is not a sport and there is no belt system. The skills and expertise of practitioners are tested each single session of training.

PrimalDance movement meditation – 9:30-11pm

Bec Castaldini

PrimalDance is a movement meditation to music – free your body and let it speak to the movement – connect to the realest part of you!  No rules, no judgement, just your body and tribal beats.

<<your passion here>> – sometime 1-7pm

Remember… this is a freespace festival!  So that means…

  • Activities are subject to change
  • The online schedule has the latest
  • If you want to see it happen – make it happen!
